In 1998, a rare F3 tornado flattened much of my neighborhood in upstate New York. I was about 12 years old. In its wake, I took my mom’s Minolta X-1 and started shooting photos. This issue, the second in the Paper City miniseries, collects those photos along with meteorological analysis and new material.
Paper City, a miniseries from A Photo Story printed in 7” x 10” mini zine format, explores my hometown of Mechanicville, New York, through photos shot over more than two decades and counting.
